Our community knows it’s not all about us. We regularly support several local service opportunities as well as many more as the needs arise.
Angel Threads: This ministry collects, sorts, and distributes clothing to local families in need. The Hub meets monthly to help sort through and organize donated clothing, we then return a few nights later to help with the distribution end during the Free Meals/Winter Shelter program at Calvary. Information about these times are sent through the main postings.

Harbor of Praise: The Hub has partnered with The Harbor Church in Ventura who focuses on reaching out and ministering to the homeless. We come along side them once a month to help prepare and serve a meal which is followed by a Spirit filled time of worship and prayer. Want To Help This Christmas Season?!!

THERE ARE MANY WAYS TO DO SO...

Angel Tree - Help organize the matching process of children and Calvary individuals/families. Assistance is needed with Sunday promotions, collecting/organizing presents, and making actual deliveries to the children. Be directly involved in blessing the children of incarcerated parents through purchasing a Christmas gift on their parent’s behalf. Shoe Box Outreach - Serve Mt.Zion Community in Ensenada, Mexico this Christmas season! Leaders and volunteers are needed to help collect empty shoe boxes, prepare the lists of items needed, and distribute/collect the filled shoe boxes on Sundays! Shoe Box Delivery Mission Trip - Be a part of the team going down to Mexico to deliver the boxes and show God's love to the community! December 12-14. Community Christmas Shoppe – Help is needed organizing the event, soliciting companies/groups to do toy drives, as well as volunteers the day of. For more information contact Korrie Chapman at Korrie.chapman@calvarycc.org or 818-575-2292.

Adopt a Family – Each year there are families in the Calvary body that are “adopted” and a group purchases gifts for the family as well as food and/or decorations…whatever your group wants to do to bless the family.
