Our community knows it’s not all about us. We regularly support several local service opportunities as well as many more as the needs arise.
Angel Threads: This ministry collects, sorts, and distributes clothing to local families in need. The Hub meets monthly to help sort through and organize donated clothing, we then return a few nights later to help with the distribution end during the Free Meals/Winter Shelter program at Calvary. Information about these times are sent through the main postings.

Harbor of Praise: The Hub has partnered with The Harbor Church in Ventura who focuses on reaching out and ministering to the homeless. We come along side them once a month to help prepare and serve a meal which is followed by a Spirit filled time of worship and prayer. Information about these times are sent through the main postings.
Do you know of a local need someone may have? If so, please give us the details and we will share them here. Be sure to sign up to receive new opportunity updates.

Christmas Eve Communion NEED

Dear Hub Ministry,

We are in great need of your help.  Calvary Community Church is serving communion in all 3 services on Christmas Eve.

We are still in need of almost 50 more volunteers.

Even if you have never done it before, please step up and help these wonderful services come together.

Our greatest need is in the kitchen in the afternoon, set up/clean up in between services, and décor clean up after the 7PM service.

Arrive 30 minutes before each service; we will meet for instructions and prayer.

After each service, the trays need to be re-set for the next crowd, so plan on staying 30 minutes.

Please reply to terrib@calvarycc.org  ASAP and let us know how you can help.  For those who have already signed up, thank you, encourage your family & friends to join us!

I’m thankful for you,
Pastor Kirk
