Our community knows it’s not all about us. We regularly support several local service opportunities as well as many more as the needs arise.
Angel Threads: This ministry collects, sorts, and distributes clothing to local families in need. The Hub meets monthly to help sort through and organize donated clothing, we then return a few nights later to help with the distribution end during the Free Meals/Winter Shelter program at Calvary. Information about these times are sent through the main postings.

Harbor of Praise: The Hub has partnered with The Harbor Church in Ventura who focuses on reaching out and ministering to the homeless. We come along side them once a month to help prepare and serve a meal which is followed by a Spirit filled time of worship and prayer. Information about these times are sent through the main postings.

Fw: [The Hub] Friday Night Concert on the Lawn

The church is holding another Concert on The Lawn on the 24th.  As an alternative to meeting with us at the lakes on the 24th, we received a thank you and a request for help at the next concert. 

If you would prefer to do this, the please contact Diane Johnson for additional information:

will sell chips, candy, cookies, soda, and water.
will have tables set up outside by the atrium.
will serve by setting up all the food sales, selling it, and putting it all back when it is over.
Frisbee, gloves, baseballs and summer toys, would be great to bring.
Concert will go until around 8 or 9pm.
